Who is IPEMA?IPEMA provides a product certification program for public play equipment and surfacing materials. The program validates a participant’s product(s) to one or more of the standards referenced here. TÜV SÜD America serves as the third-party validator for the program. Can I only use Premium 3/8 RhinoMulch Rubber Mulch and Shredded RhinoMulch Rubber Mulch for my landscape needs?No. You can use any of our rubber mulch for your landscape area. Are the KinderMulch 3/4″ and Premium KinderMulch 3/8″ the only products I can use for my playground?No. We also offer our Premium Shredded mulch. It looks just like normal wood mulch. This product works great for both playgrounds and landscapes. What is the difference between the KinderMulch 3/4″ and the Premium KinderMulch 3/8″?The difference is that KinderMulch 3/4″ is a bigger size nugget and contains fiber strands. Premium KinderMulch 3/8″ is smaller and contain minimal amounts of fiber. The products also differ in appearance with the 3/8″ having more of a finished, tailored look. Have your products been tested for the critical fall heights?Yes. We have been tested for the ASTM critical fall heights and are approved. Have your products been tested for wheel chair accessibility?Yes. Our products are ADA approved for wheelchair accessibility. How long does the rubber mulch last?Rubber mulch is non-biodegradable. Can I pick up my rubber mulch?Yes. However, you will need a truck that can handle the weight of 2,000 lbs. (more or less depending on how much you purchase). Make sure to bring bungee cords or straps to secure the super sacks (we DO NOT provide these items). There is a $75 loading fee for any non-commercial vehicles. Can I get samples of the rubber mulch?Yes. You can order samples on our website here. Or you can call us and place an order for samples over the phone. How is my mulch shipped?All of our rubber mulch is delivered on a skid and cannot be off-loaded by hand. Therefore all deliveries will be made via the following instructions: Orders of 8 or less will include:– Liftgate delivery with offloading via pallet jack onto a flat paved surface– Curbside delivery – shipment is dropped off at roadside or at the end of a drivewayOrders of 9 tons or more customers must either:– Provide their own equipment capable of unloading the skids off of the delivery truckOR– Split up the order into multiple shipments using lift-gate trucks and have the rubber mulch delivered curbsideDue to nationwide shipping delays, the current lead time on all colored mulch orders is 4 weeks.We will not guarantee a time frame on delivery.
